Ajegunle Lawmaker Trains 20 People on Fish and Poultry Production

Hon.Rita Orji,Federal House of Representatives member and Chairperson House Committee on Diaspora Matters representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, trained 20 people including youths and women on fish feed and poultry production, adding that this empowerment training on fish feed and poultry production would go a  long way in making many to be self-employed than being as burden to Ajegunle community.

According to her, this empowerment training for Ajegunle youths and women from the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research and Ibadan Institute would reduce crime rate and make people busy with fruitful activities in Ajegunle.

“If our youths and women are trained on empowerment kits by our Ajegunle politicians, the issue of insecurity threat and violence won’t be a national anthem in the community. These two combined empowerment trainings were drawn from my constituency that represents all the tribes in Ajegunle”.

Explaining to the press that her purpose of constant empowerment trainings for Ajegunle people since she was elected in 2015 is to create serial entrepreneurs that would create employment opportunities for Ajegunle people in future. These people were trained on different segments of empowerment programmes to the core.

You can’t be a millionaire by remaining idle in life or continuously giving them fish without teaching the secret of fishing would result to prostitution and criminal activities in the constituency.Ajegunle people are blessed with abundant talents that needed to be harnessed by intelligent politicians that are called to liberate the community from criminal activities.

For those that were trained on fish production, your fishing kits would be officially presented to you from my constituency office as soon as the fishing kits producer is through with the process and others on poultry production already be empowered on their training ground.

Mr.Samuel Thikan, one of the 20 beneficiaries of Hon.Rita Orji’s empowerment programme commended her for training them on digital fish feed production.Today; I’m fully trained to start fish farming without supervision. May God continue to empower her to do more for Ajegunle community, he prayed.

Some of the beneficiaries of Hon.Rita Orji’s empowerment programme were; Patience Abige,Obogun Abiodun Omobola,Ogunbajo Racheal,Echere Stella Ateta,Monday Victoria,Ogiriogu Catherine,Igbinoba Evelyn,Akpuduvo Beatrice,Adekanbi Elizabeth Ajike,Tee Taiwo,Gbenga Owolarafe,Augustine Eze,Ehuwa Sunday,Ikaka Peter and others.

Orji advised the beneficiaries to put to use on what they had learnt and remained good ambassadors of Ajegunle community.
