Tunde Alapini

 

Chief Alapini Babatunde is the current Executive Director of Micura Services Limited and award-winning maritime expert with difference.

Born on 23rd of June, 1973 and hailed from Lagos Island local government area of Lagos State. He attended Zumratul Islamiyyah Primary School for his first school leaving certificate in 1979 to 1985 and Ajeromi-Ifelodun High School for his secondary school certificate in 1986 to 1992 in Ajegunle.He thereafter proceeded to Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti to obtain his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Marketing from 1993 to 1996 and Ondo State Polytechnic Owo for his Higher National Diploma(HND) in Business Administration and Management from 1998 to 2001.

He attended courses on: Security Administration and Conflict Management (United Kingdom), Skill development for Administration Manager (Industrial Training Funds), Management course for Middle Level Manager (Nigeria Institute Management), Performance Management and Balance Score Card (Ighodalo &Associate Limited, Management Workshop for Administration/Personal Officer (Centre for Management Development) and Level One,Health,Safety and Environment Protection (Nigeria Institute of Safety Professionals).He is an associate member of Nigeria Chartered Institute of Management.

He worked briefly with one of the A-list private companies in Africa, Dangote Group from 1996 to 1997 as marketing officer, Dangote Group (Project Department) from 1998 to 2003 as Liaison officer, Dangote Sugar Plc as Admin Manager from 2004 to 2007 and currently with Micura Services Limited as Executive Director from 2008 till date. He has been positively involving in grassroots empowerment over the years and has received many meritorious awards to his credit. He is a member of Ajegunle Chiefs Association. He is happily married and blessed with children.
