-Marks Governor Okowa’s Victory with Thanksgiving Service

-Ikpide-Irri people shower encomiums on Chief Emoefe for making the community a centre of excellence

It was a moment of celebration at Ikpide-Irri community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State,as the Managing Director of Portplus Limited recently hosted Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Chieftains and Ikpide-Irri people  with Thanksgiving service to mark the second time victory of the Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at his country home. It was a gathering that brought together Isoko South PDP Stalwarts to celebrate the victory of the governor at the just concluded polls in Nigeria.

According to Chief Immanuel Emoefe,the Okpugo of Irri Kingdom said, the victory of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is for all Deltans and I want to thank God for his victory because It was not easy when several federal might threats greeted our political system in the state by the ruling political party but God gave us victory at the poll.

This thanksgiving service was not to show up wealth in my community but to thank God for His presence in Ikpide-Irri community and to appreciate the good works of Governor Okowa in Delta State.

Chief Emoefe said, hosting PDP chieftains in my country home was to let Deltans know that PDP is Isoko and a party to beat in the State. The likes of Chief Iduh Amadhe,President-General of Isoko Development Union(IDU),Chief Solomon Ogba,Hon.Ferguson Onwo, newly elected Delta State House of Assembly member,Isoko South Constituency 11,Chief Obi Eneruvie,former PDP Isoko South chairman, Archbishop Apena of Bethesda church,Isoko/Urhobo gospel artists, Pastor Kess Apena,Chief Kpokpogri and hosts of others were in attendance.

Ikpide-Irri people also used the opportunity to shower encomiums with prayers on their illustrious son, Chief Immanuel Emoefe for attracting government presence in the community. He is a goal to Ikpide-Irri community and God will continue to protect his family and business, they prayed.
