Chief Michael Ubogu Hosts Friends at Navy Barracks in Lagos

 Managing Director of Micura Services Limited, High Chief Michael Orobosa Ubogu popularly called by friends and admirers as ‘Striker ‘recently hosted Apapa Ajegunle All Stars Football Club(AAASFC) and Micura friends with novelty match at Navy Barracks in Ajegunle,Apapa,Lagos.

According to Chief Michael Ubogu,a man that has passionate love for grassroots sports and humanitarian development,said,he was overwhelmed with the galaxy of friends that came to celebrate his birthday bash.

“Though, I wanted a low-key birthday bash but many people including my friends know the date of my birthday every year. It has been faithful over the years and how God took me from poverty to greatness; it is just the grace of God in my life till date.”

I want to thank everybody that has found me worthy to be celebrated and God will continue to protect their families and businesses, he prayed.

Mr.Don Kefe,a renowned Ajegunle ambassador of grassroots sports and one of the founding members of the Ajegunle Chiefs Association, eulogized the good works of Chief Michael Ubogu and how his loyalty to old friends remain genuine till date. He is a man that carries people’s burden without second thought in life and God will continue to uplift him for us, he praised.

Chief Segun Okunloye, Managing Director, Seglo International Ltd also commended Chief Ubogu for his philanthropic works in Africa. I can tell you categorically that over the years I had learnt philanthropic legacies from him. He is a man that celebrates people’s successes with good heart.

Chief Tunde Alapini also expressed joy over the life of Chief Ubogu as his boss and a man that has humanitarian love for the poor in Nigeria.

Novelty match was played between Micura Friends and Ajegunle All Stars Football Club which ended in 2-1 after 90 minutes of play. Guests were entertained with traditional dancers and artistes as sumptuous food and drinks were served.
