On July 14th, 2018, was a day Mr. Christopher Ogosi prominently called by music entertainers as ‘General Kito’ redefined the Nigerian entertainment industry by bringing back the extinctive dancehall expression to live?

As a trained maritime expert cum award-winning philanthropist, his huge financial investment in the entertainment industry is worthy of emulation to the core.

General Kito is one man that is really passionate about the entertainment industry and how grassroots musicians can be rated as the best musicians in the world with global awards and connections.

He has been advocating for quality music production among ghetto musicians under his music label called Kingston records over the years. He has able to bring some ghetto musicians to limelight in the world entertainment industry over a decade.

With his vast global tour in music, he knows what it takes to give out quality music to the public and today General Kito has single-handedly sponsored so many ghetto musicians by retraining them on music instruments and language control in public gatherings.

According to him, for any musician to become prominent in the world, he or she must have quality education at music and fame management. He believes that only quality music can bring fame to a budding musician in Africa.

General Kito has been devoting his hard-earned resources into the entertainment industry for over a decade and always passionate about budding musicians with excellent music production.

July 14 would not be forgotten in hurry at 40-40 Lounge, Cementry road, Ajegunle Apapa, Lagos as General Kito brought both old and new musicians in one platform to promote dancehall expression. It was a moment of joy seeing a trained maritime expert cum music promoter thrilling the audience with one of his hit songs. From the red carpet to the mastering of the event was not just vivacious but the crowd acceptance was gracious to the core. The likes of Raymond Kings, Humble man,Koded-Laff,Ayagba boys,Mrs.Kito,SirBoj, Cashman Davies Yellow Baton,MC Noise and others were in attendance to grace the event. Major Imieke also marked his birthday in a grand style as he thanked God for protecting his life from Boko Haram onslaught in Bornu State. Media houses like STV, Mindset Media limited and others were there to cover the event. Guests were lavishly treated with adequate maximum security.
