The Chairman and Managing Director of Ira Triumph Group, Bright Irawor Nigeria Limited and Iratriumph International Ventures,Mr.Elo Irawor recently spoke with Gabrio Voice Magazine at his palatial office in Amuwo-Odofin industrial estate on fishing business in Nigeria and how to be a good investor when putting saving first as your priority in life.

According to Mr.Irawor,I came to Lagos with the mindset of becoming successful in life, I never looked at my poor background but determined to succeed at all levels. My first job in Lagos with Great Ogboru in the fishing industry brought me into professional fishing distributor in Nigeria through the effort of my uncle Professor Saliba Umukoro.

The Delta-born trained Fish handler said fishing business is lucrative in Nigeria. Fish is good for our body. Coming into the fishing business was never a mistake learning the ropes from Great Ogboru.

Speaking further, he said my life was shattered until I attended Bishop David Oyedepo’s programme that changed my mindset in self-employment. With the experience garner from different fish companies in Nigeria has helped me to set up one of the fast-growing fishing companies in partnership with foreign fishing companies in the country.

He added that apart from fishing business, I still do other businesses like transport (Trailers/trucks) and farming in large quantity. I have many branches across Nigeria with over 600 workers to my credit.

According to him, in business, there are many challenges to face in life but as an entrepreneur you must be bold to overcome. Every of my worker working with me are landlords in Lagos. God has given me faithful workers to grow this company over the years. Successes of wonderful men of God inspired me to strive for greatness in life.

My grandmother taught me how to save in life. As a businessman; you must have the culture of saving to attract great investment. Every youth must have innovative spirit to be self-employed backed with education, he said.
