Hon.Rita Orji Receives Two Meritorious Award, as she dedicates awards to Ajeromi-Ifelodun People

-Advises Ajegunle youths to shun political violence and focus on their careers in life

 

The Federal House of Representatives member and chairperson on House Committee and Diaspora Matters representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Hon.Rita Orji was bestowed with two meritorious awards from two reputable grassroots organizations in Nigeria. It was a moment of celebration as Hon.Rita Orji dedicated the two awards to Ajeromi-Ifelodun people, adding that their unflinching support for the past three years that has earned her these two meritorious awards.

While commenting on the TM news award, Hon.Rita Orji said, she has been receiving awards from different organizations in Nigeria and abroad for the past three years, God is in charge of my representation in the National Assembly. I want to live a good legacy behind for other young legislators to emulate in the future. For me to be bestowed as the grassroots female legislator of the year among other progressive Nigerians shows that our grassroots works are not hidden anymore.

Another Community Policing Committee(CPC/NCPC) in partnership with Safety and Rescue Emergency Response Initiative(SERERI) award was bestowed on Hon.Rita Orji as the Chief Security Solution provider which was ably presented by its chairman, Apostle Goodness Nduka Amaefule at the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Peace Concert held on December 26th,2018 at Aduke street,off Ojo road,Ajegunle.

Hon.Orji also expressed joy over the two awards given to her by TM news and Community Policing Committee awards and said these two bodies should continue to project positive things that would bring peace to Nigeria.

She frowned at the rate of youth restiveness in Ajegunle and told the youth to shun violence and not to be induced with money by any desperate politician that wants to win election at all cost in 2019. If any politician asks you to kill for him or her, request for their children to take the lead.

You are not destined to die young as youths but to fulfill destinies created by God to you. It is sad that some politicians will give you peanuts to kill while their children in abroad attending the best schools of this world. Every youth in Ajegunle must rise up to stop youth restiveness and embrace good life, she advised.
