Hon.Rita Orji Saves 72-year-old man from Ischemic Stroke in Ajegunle

On 28th, May, 2018 was a day, Hon.Rita Orji, Federal House of Representatives member and Chairperson House Committee on Diaspora Matters representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency turned her constituency tour to rescue mission to Mr.Lewis Ikejiaku that was partially affected by stroke.

Respite was brought back to the family of Mr.Lewis Ikejiaku as Hon.Rita Orji whose intention to visit the family and shows  philanthropic support to them but seeing the situation on ground, she immediately asked her team to convey the 72-year-old man to Zoligar Hospital at Hausa street,Tolu,Apapa Lagos for medical attention.

According to her, when I heard that Mr.Lewis Ikejiaku was partially affected by stroke and I thought it was a mere stroke but seeing the situation on ground and I felt  financial assistant won’t save his life than converting that money to medical attention. It is better I saved the situation before it became a sad news in the community.

Orji said Mr Lewis Ikejiaku is a party faithful to the core and he believes in quality leadership from the grassroots. Every representative of Ajeromi-Ifelodun in both the state and national assembly must care for the people they are representing not for their selfish interest.

Mr.Lewis Ikejiaku’s son also used the opportunity to thank Hon.Rita Orji for taking his father to the hospital for medical attention. God brought you to save my father from untimely death. We had no money to give him a medical attention. God bless you madam, he prayed.

Orji also visited Mrs.Cecelia Ashogbon, one of the PDP faithful that lost her daughter in the cool hands of death. It was a moment of condolence relief from the family who were elated seeing Hon.Rita Orji giving them a surprising visit.

She charged youths in Ajeromi-Ifelodun to resist any financial inducement from politicians as 2019 election approaches. Don’t allow desperate politicians to use to kill innocent people for election. If they demand for such heinous services, tell them to bring their children for the mission first.

Orji demonstrated philanthropic love to the Muslim faithful in Ajegunle as she shared Ramadan gifts in largesse. It was a moment of joy as she puts smiles on the faces of Muslim leaders. She charged Muslim faithful to use this Ramadan period to preach unity and peace in Ajeromi-Ifelodun LGA.We can’t continue to waste innocent lives in the community due to anxious political leaders that want power at all means. You must resist them not to use your children for political sacrifices, she warned.
