…Seek for God’s intervention for peaceful elections

The Federal House of Representatives member representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency and Chairperson House Committee on Diaspora Matters,Hon.Rita Odichimma Orji, has continued to advocate for peaceful elections ahead of the February elections in the constituency, stressing that youths must shun political violence and serial criminal activities that has painted Ajegunle image negatively in the international world.

According to her, elections are few weeks from now and we must not allow any politician in Ajegunle to trade our political future for mere vote buying tactics in market centres. Ajegunle is not a war zone and elections will come and go while those be used to foment trouble against the elections are in either in jail or dead.

Orji stressed that violence can only be prevented if Ajegunle people are ready to defend their votes at the different polling boots on the Election Day.

“Ajegunle electorates are wiser and they are ready to vote their best into power”.

Speaking further, Orji said “Ajegunle is blessed with great people with potentialities and quality leaders at the helms of affairs can only bring formidable representation to the people”.

We need peaceful elections and my tour from churches to churches and familiarization meetings to let Ajegunle people know that I’m not far from them and we need God’s intervention in the coming elections.

Since I was elected as a member of the National Assembly in 2015, I have been coming to my constituency and everybody knows their representative. I will remain committed to quality representation, she promised.
