The current Vice-Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State and Managing Director of Ben-Vick Technical Services Limited,Hon(Chief) Raphael Okaruefe has called on budding entrepreneurs in Nigeria to have long time plans for their businesses in order to sustain their wealth in life.

In a chat with at his Lekki-Ajah residence in Lagos recently, Hon. Raphael Okaruefe said getting riches is very easy if you have strategic plans for it but sustaining the riches is the major problem in life. I came from a polygamous home and worked hard all my life to get to where I am today. Every budding entrepreneur that wants to succeed in life must learn to take risk in business.

Wealth making or getting to the top is very easy but sustainability demands more strength and work to be at the top. I have vowed in my life not to go back to where I was in life because it stinks. I tasted several stages of poverty and I don’t want my children to taste that bitter part of life.

According to him, as an entrepreneur, your success lies on your prudent management of your resources to get your required financial result in life. I became a millionaire at 29 years of age by dint of hardwork and perseverance and now at 53, still sustaining my financial status in life. Coupled with my education and exposure in life, succeeding in entrepreneurial leadership became reality. Risk taking is one of the strategies that have helped me to succeed in business over the years, he added.
