The maiden edition of Communitywatchplus awards recently honoured some Ajegunle achievers who had credibly done well in their chosen professions and humanity over the years which event were held at Ajeromi-Ifelodun secretariat chambers hall, Ajegunle Apapa Lagos.

According to the host, McAnthony Anaelechukwu, said Communitywatch plus is just two years old in the grassroots media and also running one of the fast-growing online media platforms in Ajegunle and Africa.

This award was based on massive voting via online from social media lovers and with our formidable team, we were able to bring the best from all the awardees voted for. The man of the year and icon award is a continuous one and we shall improve more next year, he promised.

Hon.Adenji Yusuf, a renowned international speaker and lecturer spoke on a topic ‘Ajegunle’ and the two Local governments were created. He emphasized on the need for Ajegunle achievers to create more innovative ideas to grow its grassroots leadership to an enviable height. We must continue to provide good ideas to our grassroots leaders to develop Ajegunle and beyond, he said.

Those that received communitywatchplus awards were High Chief Michael Orobosa,Managing Director,Micura Services Limited(Philanthropist and job creation),Hon.Kamal Bayewu(Political icon),Hon.Adewale Adeogun(Education),Mc Anthony(Sports personality),Hkt,Hon.Fatai Ayoola(Man of the year),Hon.Arogundade Samsondeen(Ambassador of entrepreneurship),Bishop Matthew Omodiagbe,Elvis,Teesignature,Caro proprietress, Posthumous award for Hopebay schools proprietress, Isaac Moses,Isaac Success,Evang Benjamin Igoh,Hon.Fatai Ajidagba,Alfred and others. Highlight of the event were music presentation by new generational secular artistes, paper presentation and light refreshment for guests.
