The Wazobia Widows Foundation of Ajegunle(WWFA) recently marked 14th anniversary of its humanitarian services to Ajegunle widows. It was a great event that attracted crème da la crème of the maritime and media gurus to Ajegunle community.

Addressing some of the pressmen at the event, the chief host, Evang.Benjamin Igoh(JP) said his widows’ ministry was mandated from God and he remains committed to the common cause of humanity in Ajegunle.

Giving is my calling and I am ready to do more for humanity.Today, many widows and their children have benefitted from this Godly owned NGO.I thank God for using the likes of Chief Michael Ubogu, Managing Director of Micura Services Limited, Odion Ighalo, Super Eagles striker and Agatha Amata to support this my noble NGO in Ajegunle and only God will continue to lift them up in all their endeavours in Jesus name amen.

Agatha Amata of Rave TV/Inside-Out media Limited tasks WWFA to train their children to any level of education in their lives. If you struggle to train your children as widows, your life can never remain the same thing on earth again.

Pastor Sonny Bello (RCCG), as a guest preacher who preached on the theme: ‘Season of Joy’

, said widows must be happy because God cares for their lives. Every widow must embrace Christ in their lives and remain faithful to this great organization.

Chief Tunde Alapini, Executive Director of Micura Services Limited added that he would continue to support WWFA and ready to show more love for humanity in Ajegunle.

Odion Ighalo’s mother, Super Eagles player and Mrs. Patricia Zuakemefa also expressed their joy in what God is using Evang.Benjamin Igoh to affect humanity in Ajegunle.Some widows’ children were empowered with dryers, sewing machines while Chief Ubogu promised to double their empowerment. Widows also shared bags of rice and indomies among themselves and frames were given to some industrious widows who had been with NGO for the past 14years of existence. Official calendar and magazine was launched to mark the 14th anniversary of the NGO, as guests were entertained with music and served with sumptuous meal.
