WWFOA marks 15th Anniversary, as Dedicated Widows receive Frame awards from Founder

Pastor Benjamin Igoh(JP),founder, Wazobia Widows Foundation of Ajegunle(WWFOA) and multiple award-winning preacher, recently marked his NGO 15th anniversary, as sponsors were presented with live goats and promised to take the foundation to the next level, stressing that Wazobia Widows Foundation of Ajegunle came to give hope to widows in Ajegunle and legacy remains our focus in life.

While addressing the widows and guests, Pastor Benjamin Igoh(JP) said, I was called by God to start using NGO to empower widows in Ajegunle.On,October,24th,2003,this dream came into fruition,though,it was not easy but I stood my ground to see that this dream was not hijacked by powers that be. God has been faithful to us for the past 15 years using committed sponsors to make my dream a reality.

I want to commend Agatha Amata, CEO/MD Rave TV/Inside-out media Limited, Chief Michael Orobosa Ubogu,MD/CEO Micura Services Limited, Odion Ighalo,Nigerian Super Eagles striker,Hon.Fatai Ajidgaba,Executive Chairman,Ifelodun LCDA and others. “God will continue to bless them all”, he prayed.

Chief Michael Ubogu as one the faithful sponsors and guests at the 15th anniversary, said widows must live a life of contentment and be prayerful always. I’m not rich as a person just be contented with life.You must not be rich until you help somebody to fulfill his or her destiny. He promised the foundation with the sum of N1.3 million to empower the widows in December season.

Agatha Amata,CEO Rave TV/Inside-out Media Limited as the guest speaker and one of the faithful sponsors of the foundation, who spoke on a topic, ‘You will smile again’, she told the widows that they must monitor their children now. Be a widow does not make you a beggar than be a financial supporter of this NGO.Pastor Igoh must be commended for his faithfulness and philanthropy in building a trusted NGO in Ajegunle for the past 15 years. She also used the opportunity to empower one of the disable widows’ daughters’ education to the university level, equipped mother with soft-loan and accommodation.

Chief Tunde Alapini, Executive Director, Micura Services Limited also praised WWFOA for the judicious use of resources of empowering the widows in Ajegunle since its formation. I will continue to support WWFOA with my little resources, he promised.

 Live chickens, towels, wrappers, indomies, bags of rice and special souvenirs were given to guests and widows.WWFOA presented different tribal songs to sponsors and guests. Awards of frames were presented to dedicated widows by the founder. Profile of the founder was read by Pastor Godday Odidi and co-edited by Sherriff Fakunle, Project 3:16.Guests and widows were served with sumptuous meals as music performance was also displayed too.
